Harry Douglas, the former Louisville All-American and 10-year NFL wide receiver, gave what he sees as the top five college football traditions.

Douglas ranked “the most exciting 25 seconds in college football” — Clemson rubbing Howard’s Rock and running down The Hill – as the third-best tradition.

“I’ve been able to witness this in person,” Douglas said. “They get on that bus at Clemson, they get off that bus, they touch that – not a little rock, but big Howard’s Rock – they groom that rock a little bit, then they run down that Hill.
