ESPN Analyst: Clemson Primed for ‘Big Bounce-Back’

This ESPN analyst says Clemson is primed for a big bounce-back win in Week 2.

ESPN sports betting analyst Joe Fortenbaugh pegged Clemson as one team that suffered a season-opening loss, that is ready to take it out on the competition this week.

The eighth-ranked Tigers are set to host Troy at Memorial Stadium on Saturday (3:30 p.m., ACC Network) after falling at home to LSU, 17-10, last Saturday.

Clemson is a 33.5-point favorite against Troy, a Sun Belt Conference team that’s coming off a 38-20 win over Nicholls last week.

“Clemson’s the big bounce-back… The last two times we saw Clemson lose a big opener – both came against Georgia – they came back the next week to win by 46 points each time,” Fortenbaugh said in an episode ESPN’s College Football Live.
