With last Saturday’s 45-10 win over Furman, Clemson improved to 6-5 on the season and became bowl eligible for a 27th consecutive season.
So, when the bowl game comes around, will Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik play in it?
The senior signal-caller met with the media Tuesday and commented on whether he plans to play in the bowl game.
“I’m planning on it, yeah. I play football, so…,” Klubnik said.
Klubnik discussed why he would potentially choose to play in the bowl game and not opt out.
Of course, players opting out of bowl games has become a common trend in this day and age of college football, driven mainly by players declaring for the NFL Draft to focus on preparation and avoid injury risk.
