When Clemson offered DJ Huggins early this week, it marked a special moment for the 2027 wideout.
Not only was Huggins just the second wide receiver in his class to pick up an offer from the Tigers, it also marked his first from a Power-4 program.
“It means a lot,” Huggins told The Clemson Insider. “I have put in a lot of work, so it definitely means a lot. People see that I have. So it definitely means a lot, for sure.”
Head coach Dabo Swinney called Huggins personally to deliver the news.
“Coach Swinney FaceTimed me and said I had been working hard and he said they were going to offer me,” Huggins said.
