The College Football Playoff Committee released its first version of its rankings Tuesday evening and left Clemson out at No. 5.
The Tigers were ranked behind Ohio State (No. 1), LSU (No. 2), Alabama (No. 3) and Penn State (No. 4) in the debut rankings for the season. Though Clemson is on the outside-looking in currently, there’s a great chance that we’ll see some shake-ups in the world of College Football over the next few weeks, beginning with this Saturday when LSU and Alabama play each other.
