Virginia Tech fired head coach Brent Pry on Sunday. He posted a record of 16-24 through four seasons with the Hokies and was 0-3 this season. He’s set to be owed more than $6 million in buyout, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Philip Montgomery will serve as Virginia Tech’s interim head coach.
