Clemson’s offense has come out on fire in today’s game at North Carolina.
The Tigers extended their lead to 21-3 with 4:15 left in the first quarter thanks to a five-play, 57-yard touchdown drive.
Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik found tight end Christian Bentancur for a 45-yard touchdown. The score came one play after the Tigers converted on fourth-and-4 with a 6-yard pass from Klubnik to wide receiver Bryant Wesco Jr.
The Tigers overcame a third-and-18 en route to the eventual touchdown.
Clemson has now scored touchdowns on its first three possessions and has 207 yards of total offense.
