NCAA.com’s Andy Katz released his new men’s basketball Power 37 rankings this week, stacking up the 37 best teams in the sport.
Clemson (20-4, 10-1 ACC) vaulted up Katz’s power rankings, moving up eight spots from No. 26 to No. 18.
“The Tigers have won four in a row, including a 22-point win at Cal to get the Bay Area sweep,” Katz wrote.
With a 66-64 win at Stanford this past Wednesday, followed by a 77-55 victory at Cal on Saturday, Clemson became just the third team to sweep Stanford and Cal on its West Coast swing (Wake Forest last season and Duke this season).
