CLEMSON – Softball has arrived in Clemson.
Clemson is set for its inaugural home opener – a doubleheader against Western Carolina – on Wednesday, Feb. 12. First pitch is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday’s matchup against the Catamounts is slated to be the first-ever softball game to air on ACC Network and the first home game in program history.
Clemson traveled to UCF last weekend and went 2-3 at the UCF Softball Complex. That included a win over St. John’s in the opener and another win over St. John’s in the tournament finale. Trailing 9-4 entering the top of the sixth, the Tigers scored 15 straight runs in the final two innings of the game to win 19-9.
