A former Clemson tight end found the end zone again in Week 10 of the NFL season – and he was the recipient of a historic touchdown pass.
Davis Allen, now in his third season with the Los Angeles Rams, caught a 4-yard touchdown pass from Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford early in the second quarter of the Rams’ eventual 42-26 victory over the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
Allen helped make some history with his touchdown grab, as it marked Stafford’s 400th career touchdown pass, and he became just the ninth player all-time with at least 400 TD passes.
