Clemson Picks Up Portal Commitment

The Clemson baseball program has picked up an SEC pitcher from the transfer portal.

Former Alabama pitcher Ariston Veasey announced his commitment to the Tigers on Tuesday. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

A power righthander, Veasey spent two seasons with the Crimson Tide from 2024-25. He pitched 3.2 innings across six total appearances, five of which came in 2025. Over his six career appearances, the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder allowed three hits and four runs with eight walks and six strikeouts. Opponents batted only .231 against him.

Veasey attended Starr’s Mill High School in Fayetteville, Ga.
