Clemson offense suffers yet another major injury setback with worst-case update

The final diagnosis on Clemson wide receiver Bryant Wesco is in, and while it ends his season, the overwhelming emotion from head coach Dabo Swinney on Monday was profound gratitude.

Swinney announced that Wesco has been released from the hospital and is resting at home, calling the positive long-term outlook the "best-case scenario" following a terrifying injury incident on Saturday.

“Prayers answered. Just a blessing, kind of best-case scenario,” Swinney said. “It was a very, very scary injury, and the doctors did an amazing job. … Again, a very scary injury and a lot of kind of unknowns for the first 24 hours or so, but he’s actually out of the hospital and back home.
