Clemson Lost More Than a Game, it Lost Death Valley

CLEMSON — Clemson is not going to like this, but the truth hurts.

Clemson is not the real Death Valley, at least not right now it isn’t.

The moniker, which Clemson has owned since the mid-1940’s, officially belongs to LSU after the Bayou Tigers came into Clemson’s Death Valley Saturday night and beat up Cade Klubnik and the Clemson offense.

It was a pitiful display of offense by the guys in orange, as LSU’s defense dominated them from the start. Clemson managed just 261 total yards all night and 4.5 yards per play.

The ACC’s Tigers ran for 31 yards on 20 carries – the worst rushing performance by a Clemson team at Memorial Stadium in 18 years – and that is what sucks the most for Clemson in the defeat.
