Clemson Lineman out for SMU Game

CLEMSON — The Clemson Insider has learned that a Clemson offensive lineman will not play in Saturday’s game against SMU.

According to sources, Clemson left tackle Tristan Leigh (ankle) is not expected to play in the 3:30 p.m., kick (ACCN).

This will be the third game Leigh has missed this year. He missed both the Troy and Georgia Tech games after being injured late in the LSU game. He has played and started the last three games, but was injured on the 12 play at Boston College and did not return.

Freshman Brayden Jacobs is expected to get his first career start today at left tackle in Leigh’s absence.
