Great players are not always great, they are just great when they have to be great.
Such was the case Saturday night at Mike Martin Field in Tallahassee, Fla. Clemson centerfield bad two outstanding plays to give No. 3 Clemson to a 4-3 victory lead No. 5 Florida State in Game 2 of the three-game series.
The game was postponed in the bottom of the eighth inning due to inclement weather. It will be made up tomorrow at 1 p.m., with the game Game 3 to follow.
Clemson grabbed a 1-0 lead in the top of the fifth inning when Jacob Jerrell executed a squeeze bunt on a 1-0 count perfectly.
