For the second season in a row, Clemson Football running back Will Shipley has been named to the Maxwell Award preseason watchlist.
Shipley joins 83 other players on the list for the 2023 award, which will be the 87th handed out annually from the Maxwell Football Club. The Club also awards the Chuck Bednarik Award annually to the best defensive player in the country, as well as several others for college football and the NFL.
Shipley would become the first Clemson Tiger to win the award if he was selected this season.
