The 2021 Clemson football recruiting class is currently ranked No. 2 in the nation, according to the 247 Sports’ Composite Team Rankings.
The only team the Tigers are behind? The Ohio State Buckeyes.
The Tigers currently have 10 commitments with one 5-star and nine 4-stars- according to the composite player rankings- and Ohio State currently has 10 commitments with two 5-stars, seven 4-stars and a 3-star.
The two programs are going to be battling heavily for several recruits over the cycle as they target many of the same prospects from across the nation.
Clemson football won the first battle, picking up a commitment from 4-star CB Jordan Hancock earlier this week.
