While many Clemson football fans were caught off guard he chose to go to Columbia, not many wished him anything but the best and hoped that he was able to find all the happiness that he had been missing in Clemson.
It is safe to say, he chose Columbia because it was close to home (versus Virginia Tech) and he would get a shot at Clemson in the season. As we all know things did not work out well for him as a senior under Coach Boom and the great offensive juggernaut known as South Carolina football.
