Sheridan Jones probably had the best day of all defensive players back when Clemson football hosted its spring game in early April.
The true-freshman forced a fumble, was in on several pass break-ups and had an interception returned for a touchdown.
The Clemson football coaching staff has spoken highly of the true-freshman throughout spring camp and it’s clear that he has a chance to make an impact early this season.
Talent Analysis:
Jones has the ability to develop into an elite cornerback before it’s all said and done.
He is a solid pure man-defender who can keep up with his assignment with relative ease, but what I like most is his physical nature.
