T.J. Chase came to Clemson from Plant City High School in Plant City, Florida. Chase also played for a season at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, one of the nations premier high school football programs. 247sports had Chase ranked as the 42nd wide receiver prospect in the country and the 215th overall player in the country.
