Clemson football recruiting is clicking on all cylinders now. After picking up a verbal commitment from the number-three player in the nation today in Dexter Lawrence at defensive tackle, the Tigers got a big surprise from an elite 2017 prospect.
2017 quarterback Hunter Johnson just announced that he was flipping his commitment from Tennessee to Clemson. With his commitment, he becomes the third pledge of the Tigers’ 2017 class.
As of right now, Johnson is the top quarterback prospect in the nation and the number-17 overall player in the nation for the 2017 class.
Hunter Johnson had to be blown away with Clemson after he took an unofficial visit to Tiger Town on December 11.
