You never really know what to expect when you talk about the Clemson football spring game and crowds.
Why?
With the game being free to the public, it’s sort of a guessing game as to how many fans will show up. A lot of it has to do with the weather. Much of it has to do with the success of the team at the time.
This year for Clemson football’s spring game, though, officials are expecting record crowds.
In 2017, a record 60,000 people were officially reported for the spring game. Last season, around 55,000 were reportedly on hand for the scrimmage.
