There’s no hurry for the Clemson football coaching staff to decide which freshmen will redshirt in 2019.
With the new NCAA redshirt rule, every Tiger can play in up to four games and still redshirt and save a year of eligibility. Because of this new rule, the Clemson football coaches don’t have to make decisions preseason.
Just a couple of years ago, we’d typically have a couple of posts by now talking about which freshmen had officially earned playing time in the eyes of the coaches and who would be heading towards a redshirt, assuming all things stayed the same.
