Clemson Football announced today that Will Shipley, Andrew Mukuba, Tyler Davis, Jeremiah Trotter and Barrett Carter have been named to the preseason All-ACC team.
Shipley has been named to the team three times: as a running back, an all-purpose player and a special teams player. The other four represent all three layers of the defense.
The Tigers’ five players/seven placements leads the Atlantic Coast Conference. Next was Florida State with four players. Duke, North Carolina and Miami had three each. The Tar Heels’ Drake Maye was the preseason Player of the Year.
The preseason All-ACC team is voted on by the members of the press who attended last week’s ACC Kickoff in Charlotte, North Carolina.
