Clemson Football: No matter what, Tigers will be back soon

The Clemson football program is just one victory away from achieving the feat of back-to-back National Championships and improving its overall winning streak to 30 games.

Dabo Swinney’s program will take on the LSU Tigers tonight in New Orleans with all kinds of historical marks hanging in the balance.

If Clemson football finds a way to win, the Tigers would become just the 14th program in the history of College Football to win back-to-back National Championships. Since World War II, there have only been five programs to win back-to-back consensus National Championships. Army (1944-45), Notre Dame (1946-47), Oklahoma (1955-56), Alabama (1978-79 and 2011-12) and Nebraska (1994-95) are the only programs to accomplish the feat.
