NFL Draft Analyst Mel Kiper appeared on ESPN to talk about the upcoming NFL Draft and made an interesting statement for Clemson football fans.
Though Trevor Lawrence is expected to be the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, Kiper said that if Lawrence could come out in 2020, he would still take Joe Burrow of LSU over Lawrence.
Why?
Kiper explained that the main reason he’d take Burrow over Lawrence is because Clemson football hasn’t played a difficult schedule. He said that Burrow has played “elite” teams and been phenomenal.
