The cornerback room for Clemson football here in the spring is rather thin due to injury.
The Tigers are looking to develop depth at the position, but it is difficult to do that currently with players like Derion Kendrick, Andrew Booth Jr. and Mario Goodrich in yellow jerseys. As a matter of fact, Clemson only had four cornerbacks participating in drills during the Monday practice and those were LeAnthony Williams, Sheridan Jones, Fred Davis and walk-on Jake Herbstreit.
Though injuries are never a good thing, the bright side is the fact that none of those ‘limited contact’ injuries are expected to hold players out for the entire spring.
