The Clemson football team came away with a thrilling 29-23 victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes in the CFB Playoff semifinals, but that’s not what the story has been about.
Buckeye beat writers, fans, analysts and administration have come out strongly in opposition of a couple of calls that went against them during the game, citing those as the reason for their loss.
Even though all of the calls were defended well by the officials following the game and, had the shoe been on the other foot Ohio State fans would be harping in the completely opposite direction, they maintain that the officials somehow favored Clemson, costing them a chance to go to the National Championship.
