The Clemson football program hasn’t always been a national powerhouse as it is currently.
Over the course of history, the Tigers have lost games against teams they were more talented than, suffered blowouts at the hands of powerhouses, and come up short in games they very well could’ve won.
Looking back at the history of Clemson football, some of the most notable ‘Haunting Experiences’ happened in games against rivals like Florida State, Georgia and even South Carolina on occasion. One of the most notable ones came in 1988 when Bobby Bowden reeled off one of the most infamous moments in College Football history.
