Howard’s Rock has been a tradition of the Clemson Tigers since the 1960’s when coach Frank Howard was gifted it. Before every home game, the team touches the rock before running down the hill towards the east endzone.
Fans dream of being able to touch the rock like their favorite players, but few have managed to actually be allowed that opportunity. One Clemson fan thought it was a good idea that every fan in the stadium have their very own personal Howard’s Rock.
Of course, not everyone can have a twenty pound boulder of flint, but they will now have the opportunity to own a replica piece of it.
