CLEMSON — The Clemson Baseball team will begin the season a little banged up.

Head coach Erik Bakich met with members of the media on Tuesday, noting the Tigers are not only dealing with some injuries, but that the flu is also making the rounds.

“We are a little banged up,” Bakich said on Tuesday. “We’ve got some guys that are going to be out on opening weekend. We have the flu going through about 10 guys right now. They will be fine by the weekend.”

When Clemson opens the season on Friday at home against Army, the Tigers will be without multiple pitchers, including Drew Titsworth and Jacob McGovern.
