One current Clemson commit is heading to a state title game.
Four-star QB Kharim Hughley threw one touchdown and ran for another, helping lead Gainesville to a 37-6 blowout win over Rome in the Georgia 5A semifinal matchup on Thursday night. The Red Elephants (12-2) now advance to the state title game against Thomas County Central, set to be played on December 17 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Back in November, Hughley boldly predicted his team was going to make a deep run in the postseason.
“We are going to go all the way,” the quarterback told The Clemson Insider.
