With the current NCAA contact period in full swing, some Clemson assistants have hit the road recruiting. Coaches are allowed to visit with high school prospects for most of January.
Offensive line coach Matt Luke has made several stops, including checking in on four-star target Carter Jones (Posquon, VA), who picked up one of the Tigers’ opening offers last summer. Jones has been a frequent visitor to campus and will return for the Elite Retreat on March 7.
“They definitely are still a top school for me,” Jones recently told TCI. “Knowing (Coach Swinney), and knowing their vision at Clemson, I know they are going to keep working for it and keep pushing.
