The Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame (OSHOF) and Jim Thorpe Association announced today that Clemson cornerback Avieon Terrell has been named as one of 15 semifinalists for the Jim Thorpe Award, presented annually to the nation’s top defensive back.
Terrell is the only player in the nation this season credited with at least seven passes defended and three or more forced fumbles.
