The Clemson basketball team will host the Louisville Cardinals in an ACC showdown at noon Sunday. This would be a huge win for the Tiger basketball team, who are in need of keeping their conference winning streak alive and getting a marquee victory.
Here are some notes, courtesy of Clemson’s SID Tim Bourret, heading into the match-up.
• Clemson has picked up two ACC wins to start the new year. After dropping the opener at North Carolina on December 30, the Tigers have beaten Florida State and Syracuse (on the road) over the last two games.
• Sunday’s game starts a string of five straight versus teams currently ranked in the top 25 — Louisville, Duke, Miami, Virginia and Pittsburgh.
