Clemson Basketball Makes History

Clemson basketball made history on Saturday.

The Tigers got 21 points from guard Jestin Porter to defeat Pittsburgh 73-68 at the Petersen Event Center in Pittsburgh. It marked the first time since the ACC began in 1953 that a Clemson team opened conference play with two consecutive road wins.

Clemson (12-3, 2-0 ACC) was winless in its previous 18 opportunities. The victory was also the Tigers’ 10 consecutive ACC road win, which extend the program record and more than doubled the old one.

14 IN A ROW

Thanks to Saturday’s win at Pitt, the Tigers have now defeated Pitt 14 straight time in the series, dating back to January 10, 2015.
