The Clemson basketball team went on the road this past weekend and was held to a season-low in points, resulting in a 56-44 loss to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
The Tigers shot just 18-of-59 (30.5 percent) from the field and 4-for-21 (19 percent) from three-point range.
With the loss, Clemson fell to 11-10 overall and 5-6 in the ACC.
It’s time to stop with the excuses…
Look, no matter how you look at it, this was a bad loss and one that just shouldn’t happen.
This team has beaten the likes of Duke, Syracuse and UNC (though this is a much worse Tarheels team than we’re accustomed to), but has lost games to teams like Virginia Tech (5-6 in ACC) and Miami (3-8 in ACC).
