CLEMSON — Clemson has lost one of its underclassmen to the transfer portal.
The Clemson Insider has learned catcher/OF Steele Burd has entered the portal. The current portal window for baseball opened on Monday and closes on December 15.
Burd was about to enter his second season with the Tigers after redshirting during the 2025 campaign.
Coming out of high school, the Hilton Head native was considered the 19th-best player and the fifth-best catching prospect in the state per Perfect Game.
Burd will have four seasons of eligibility remaining.
