Clemson Baseball Defeats Pesky Little Brother Furman

The Clemson baseball team beat what is commonly called their “little brother” in Furman Tuesday night, but the Paladins certainly did not make it easy for the Tigers.

Clemson held on to pick up a 9-7 victory, but Furman outplayed the Tigers in many areas. Fortunately, Clemson was able to take advantage of a couple of mistakes made by the Paladins and find a way to win a tough game.

After Furman jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the third inning, Clemson baseball battled back with a K.J. Bryant three-run home run to tie the ballgame.
