Ole Miss will have a new face under center in 2015 now that Bo Wallace is gone and if you were to ask AL.com who the Rebels’ new starter would be, the answer would be redshirt junior Chad Kelly.
A former four-star recruit out of Saint Joseph’s Collegiate Institute in Tonawanda, New York, near Buffalo, Kelly played at Clemson before being dismissed from the team for “conduct detrimental to the program” and enrolling at a Mississippi junior college. In five games with the Tigers, he completed 10 of 17 passes for 58 yards. After playing last season at East Mississippi Community College, he committed to Ole Miss.
