Over the weekend, Clemson basketball coach Brad Brownell extended an offer to Columbia City, Ind. forward Brachen Hazen.
The 6-foot-8, 200-pound 2016 prospect told TheClemsonInsider that his contact with Clemson began two months ago through associate head coach Mike Winiecki.
“I’d love to take an official or an unofficial (visit). I’d love to get on campus and see how it feels, to see if it’s the right fit for me,” Hazen said.
Maryland, Creighton, Valparaiso, Ball State, UCF and St. Joseph’s have offered.
“It’s awesome. I’ve kind of got a wide-variety of schools looking at me, from the Big 10 to the ACC all the way to the MAC schools,” he said.
