CLEMSON — Former Clemson tight end Jake Briningstool was not drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft, but on Saturday it appears he will sign as an undrafted free agent.
Multiple reports have said the former Tiger will sign a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Briningstool left his mark at Clemson during his four-year career. He finished it as the Tigers’ all-time leader in career receptions by a tight end with 127, breaking Jordan Leggett’s.
A two-time All-ACC honoree, he joined former Tiger greats Bennie Cunningham, Jim Riggs, Dwayne Allen and Leggett as the fifth Clemson tight end to earn multiple All-ACC selections in a career.
