Former Clemson star defensive lineman Bryan Bresee made a huge play on Sunday, helping the New Orleans Saints to their first victory of the 2025 NFL season.
On the first play of the fourth quarter, Bresee forced a fumble that was returned for a touchdown, giving the Saints (1-4) a 26-14 lead in their eventual win by the same score over the New York Giants (1-4) at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
On second-and-7 from the New Orleans 12-yard line, with the Saints leading 19-14, Bresee stripped the ball away from Giants running back Cam Skattebo. The ball was scooped up by Saints safety Jordan Howden at the 14-yard line and returned 86 yards for a touchdown, making the score 26-14 with 14:47 left in the game.
