ESPN college football analyst Booger McFarland had a blunt assessment of Clemson following Saturday’s 34-21 loss to Syracuse at Death Valley.
McFarland weighed in on the Tigers after they fell to 1-3 this season – the worst start in Dabo Swinney’s career at Clemson.
So, what’s wrong with the Tigers?
“They’re not a good team,” McFarland said. “They’re poorly coached. They got the talent, but their good talent is not showing up and playing well. Offensive coordinator Garrett Riley is not putting Cade Klubnik in position. You change the defensive coordinator, you bring Tom Allen from Penn State over, the defense is underperforming.
