The Clemson baseball program has suffered a big transfer portal departure.

Talented lefthander B.J. Bailey has entered the portal, The Clemson Insider confirmed.

In his third year at Clemson in 2025, Bailey recorded a 2-5 record with a 5.46 ERA across 61 innings pitched over 21 appearances (six starts). He allowed 65 hits and struck out 50 batters with 22 walks.

Bailey was primarily a matchup lefthander out of the bullpen in the 2023 season, then suffered an injury in the fall that forced him out of action in 2024.

Prior to joining the Tigers, Bailey played two seasons at Spartanburg Methodist College, where he was 5-3 with one save, a 3.
