CLEMSON — Clemson led Florida State, 18-7, at halftime of tonight’s game at Memorial Stadium.
The Tigers took an 18-0 lead thanks to a 4-yard touchdown run by quarterback Cade Klubnik and an ensuing two-point conversion run by holder Clay Swinney in the first quarter, followed by a 34-yard flea-flicker touchdown pass from Klubnik to wide receiver Antonio Williams in the second quarter, and then a 40-yard field goal by kicker Nolan Hauser.
The Seminoles got on the board late in the second quarter with a 7-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tommy Castellanos to wide receiver Lawayne McCoy, capping a 10-play, 75-yard drive.
