One thing the Clemson baseball team lacked last season was quality pitching depth.
It was readily apparent much of the season, with the issue really rearing its ugly head during the ACC Championship Game against North Carolina and then again the following week in regional play.
However, if the fall is any indication, Erik Bakich’s team is in a much better spot when it comes to quality arms. While some of those are young and inexperienced, a lot of pitchers showed a lot of promise during fall ball.
Freshmen Danny Nelson, Eston Simpson, Dan Margolies and Dylan Harris all looked sharp during some of the intrasquad scrimmages.
