One of Clemson’s biggest ACC rivals is in the market for a new quarterback.
Florida State head coach Mike Norvell revealed on Friday that quarterback Thomas Castellanos has been denied his request for a fifth year of eligibility. Castellanos has now hired a lawyer and is prepared to take legal action against the NCAA in his quest for another season.
“His waiver was denied,” Norvell said during his signing day press conference on Friday. “I know Tommy is going through his process of fighting for opportunity. We support Tommy in being able to explore all things that he wants to and needs to do for his potential eligibility and playing.
