After breaking out as a freshman, Clemson wide receiver Tyler Brown suffered a major setback in 2024 and battled through injuries en route to a disappointing second season.
While the drop-off in production wasn't his own fault, it got fans to kind of brush him to the side when projecting the receiver rotation for 2025. The Tigers were bringing back All-American candidates Antonio Williams, Bryant Wesco Jr., and TJ Moore to go along with talented transfer Tristan Smith. It felt like the offense would be loaded with those four guys catching passes.
Brown was a name that seemed to be forgotten in the receiving corps despite having that breakout freshman season followed by an injury-plagued sophomore campaign.
