A Clemson Tiger from the Past: K.J. McDaniels

K.J. McDaniels played at Clemson from 2011-14 and was one of the most versatile players to wear a Clemson basketball uniform. He was a member of current coach Brad Brownell’s first official recruiting class and one of his best former players.

Before coming to Clemson, McDaniels averaged 18.2 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 3.4 blocks at Central Park Christian School in Birmingham, Alabama and received a three star rating from ESPN. Although listed as a small forward, he played mostly as a power forward at Central, so he needed time to develop into a college small forward.
